History
CODE is a private state-accredited university of applied sciences for digital product development and entrepreneurship based in Berlin, Germany.
CODE was established in 2017. Its founders wanted a new type of university, one with a unique learning concept that emphasizes project-based learning, practical skills development, and real-world experience.
Students are encouraged to work on interdisciplinary projects throughout their studies which enable them to solve real-life problems. Students work in teams and develop problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. The learning concept is designed to keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the digital world, and the faculty consists of experienced professionals from the tech industry.
International Admissions
CODE attracts a diverse student body from all over the world. Currently there are over 50 nationalities represented in its student population. International students make up a significant portion of the CODE community and benefit from the opportunity to study in Berlin, a vibrant and innovative tech hub in Europe.
CODE provides support for international students through various services, such as a student buddy program, German language classes, counseling, workshops and clubs. CODE’s curiosity-driven education allows students to experience all three subject areas at some capacity before they settle on the subject area that suits them best. All courses are taught in English and students get 3 to 5 years to complete their degree.
